This is a remote position that requires a high speed internet connection, intermediate English skills, and ability to work 30-40 hrs per week in the US Central time zone (GMT -6).

We are looking for a rockstar web and Wordpress developer to join our growing digital marketing team. You’ll be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance for multiple WordPress websites. The right candidate will have experience with Wordpress development, Elementor Pro, custom post types, custom page templates, CSS, responsive design testing, and basic PHP queries.

This role requires someone who can learn fast, who is self-motivated, and who has an excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

WordPress - Design, developer, update, manage, and troubleshoot WordPress sites.

Migration & DNS Management - Migrate existing WordPress sites to SiteGround, FlyWheel, or WP Engine from third-party hosts. Point client domains to Cloudflare, setup staging sites and DNS records, and install SSL certificates using Let's Encrypt.

Third-Party Integrations - Setup and configure third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Cloudflare, Zapier, form tools, & More.

Website Design - Quickly create website template mockups using minimal inputs.

Search Engine Optimization - Improve on-page SEO through mobile optimization, page speed, caching, identifying missing title/meta/alt tags, resolving 404 errors, implementing 301 redirects, and other on-site ranking factors that could impact a website’s ability to rank organically. 

Support - Respond to Wordpress support tickets in Zoho Desk.

Internal Communication - Communicate clearly, promptly, and concisely with the internal team members and third-party partners via email, the ClickUp project management app, Zoom, and phone.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Attention to Detail - Focused attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure and tight timelines is required for this position.

Problem Solving - An advanced drive to identify problems and proactively test and implement solutions is required.

Communication Skills – Must be able to communicate in all areas of the business at the highest levels. Must be able to effectively present information to team members and managers.

Passion/Attitude - Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies. A willingness to work in a collaborative environment and go the extra mile. A positive mindset is a requirement.

Web Development - 2-5 years of professional WordPress development experience is required. Experience taking websites live by connecting domain and hosting platforms together along with configuring DNS and SSL certificates.

Web Design - Proven work experience as a web designer with a strong portfolio.

SEO - Strong knowledge of SEO best practices with proven success incorporating these strategies into new and existing web sites.

Pay is based on experience. Bonuses and raises may be provided on semi-annual basis based on performance.

Monday-Friday – 40 hours per week in the US Central or US Eastern time zone. Exact hours are flexible.
